Quilted pillows give a touch of artsy class to your couch! They also make amazing gifts.
We love this classic "Lemoyne Star" block, dressed up or down however you like.
We will break down the basic elements of quilted pillow construction, using half-square triangles to construct our pillow top, and then quilt, add the back pieces, and bind it up!
You will learn:
- How to piece your star pillow
- Color coordination and working with directional fabrics
- Machine quilting with a walking foot
- Reading a quilt pattern
- Cutting and measuring your pieces
- How to measure batting
- Basting your pillow top
- How to bind your pillow top
You will come away with a beautiful finished quilted pillow quilt that you can share or keep.
