Learn to make this starry new quilt design by Tara Faughnan, a master of color, design, and texture.

'String Star' is a beginner-friendly "Skill Builder" quilt pattern featuring Tara's gorgeous new line of woven fabric collection, Handloom. This fabric is saturated color with a slubby surface.

This star quilt pattern has a bold and unexpected mix of deep colors, and we loe the deep blue background that makes this star pop. The finished pattern measures 32"x32".

This class will focus on quilt top construction, and is perfect for intermediate quilters or quilters who want to work on advancing their quilting vocabulary with string piecing, y-seams, and working with templates. 

There are four class sessions on consecutive Sundays 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, and 8/9 from 9:30am-12:00pm.

Level:

Very Confident Beginner to Intermediate and up. Comfortable with placing needle in exact positions, and stitching around seam placements. (You will learn if you haven't yet!)

You will need:

• Yourself! All other materials included.
• Optional sewing machine (or use ours in class)

Quilt kit (including pattern and fabric) is included in the price. (This pattern is also accompanied by on online video tutorial series for future reference.)
