Fab Lab Fabric + Quilt

$325.00 USD

What could be more wonderful than a week of stitching at the Fab Lab?

Join us in our sunny, creative makerspace for five mornings of sewing, stitching, and making. Campers will learn the fundamentals of sewing by hand and on a machine while creating beautiful projects, making new friends, and building confidence with real tools and materials.

Projects include:

• A tote bag sewn on a sewing machine
• A charming pillow featuring machine piecing and hand embroidery
• A hand-sewn bag charm for backpacks, tote bags, and more

Campers will choose their own fabrics and thread colors, making every project uniquely their own.

Along the way, kids will learn:

• How to confidently use a sewing machine
• Safe fabric cutting and pressing techniques
• Basic hand-sewing skills
• Essential construction techniques
• Beginner embroidery stitches
• Measuring and working with fabric
• Color and fabric coordination
• Creative problem-solving and design skills

No prior sewing experience is required.

Enrollment is limited to just six campers to ensure plenty of individual attention and support.

Materials, tools, and sewing machine use are included.

Please bring a nut-free snack and a water bottle each day.
